ISPmanager license expired — what to do

Summary

If the ISPmanager license has expired, the panel stops working. Check the license status and contact support for renewal.

Check license status

/usr/local/mgr5/sbin/licctl info ispmgr

Check the expiry and status fields.

Server is still accessible

License expiration does not affect websites, databases, or email on the server. All services continue to work, only the panel is unavailable.

Manage the server via SSH:

systemctl restart nginx

systemctl restart php8.1-fpm

systemctl restart mysql

How to renew the license

Contact support for renewal or purchase. After receiving the new license:

/usr/local/mgr5/sbin/licctl activate ispmgr LICENSE_KEY

systemctl restart ispmgr

Verification

/usr/local/mgr5/sbin/licctl info ispmgr

Status should be active.

If the panel doesn't start after activation, open a support ticket with licctl info output.
